Commercial licence

This is the licence shipped inside every paid plugin. Free plugins carry their own free licence in the jar.

1. Grant

Purchasing this software grants the buyer a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run it on servers the buyer owns or operates, for as long as the purchase remains valid.

2. Restrictions

The buyer may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lend or publish this software or any part of it, in original or modified form, nor remove or alter its licensing, attribution or anti-piracy markings.

Decompilation and reverse engineering are permitted only to the extent that applicable law allows them regardless of this clause.

3. Modification

The buyer may modify configuration and language files freely. Modifying the compiled software is permitted for the buyer's own use only; the result may not be distributed, and no support is offered for it.

4. Support and updates

Updates are provided at the author's discretion. Support is offered through the channel named on the product listing.

5. Warranty

This software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall the author be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from its use.

6. Termination

This licence ends if its terms are breached. On termination the buyer must stop using the software and remove it from every server.

Third-party components bundled with this software keep their own licences, which are listed in the product documentation.

Terms of sale

Plugins bought on this site are digital goods delivered by download. Each purchase is a single payment in US dollars, taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

After payment you receive one licence key per plugin, shown on screen, sent to your email and kept in your account together with the download.

Plugins bought on BuiltByBit or SpigotMC are sold under those platforms' own terms.

Prices are in US dollars and the price shown is the final price you pay.

Because a plugin is delivered as soon as you pay, you ask for immediate delivery when you buy and accept that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that EU law gives for distance purchases. The refund policy below still applies.

Refunds

If a plugin does not work on a supported server version and we cannot fix it, you get your money back. Ask within 14 days of the purchase, on Discord or at info@journalbytts.xyz, with the email you bought with.

A refunded purchase has its licence key revoked, and the plugin switches itself off.

Privacy

What this site stores, and nothing else:

• The email address you pay with, to deliver your key and let you sign in.
• Your orders: product, amount, date and Stripe's reference for the payment.
• For each licence key, the last time a server checked it and the identifier that server sent.
• One cookie that keeps you signed in. There is no analytics and no advertising cookie.

Payments are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy. To have your data removed, write to info@journalbytts.xyz from the email you bought with.
